Position: Online Marketing Long-Term Trainee

Location: Izmir

Online Marketing trainee will be responsible for implementing the communication strategy via online and other digital tools with the coordination of MarCom responsible.

BASF Turk, the world’s leading chemical company, is looking for candidates to work as a “Long Term Intern” in the Crop Protection Business Unit in its İzmir office.

We are looking for a long-term intern who

• Is a student (BA, Master’s, or P.hD) who continue their study at least until the end of June 2024 in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative
• Will be able to continue her/his internship regularly at least 3 full days a week
• Is open to innovations and wants to improve herself/himself in content development, presentation preparation, digitalization, online marketing, and online communication topics
• Proficient in MS Office programs
• Has a good level of English
• Reside in İzmir
• Is open to learning, and has strong communication skills

Job Description

• Supporting Online Communication Implementation
• Following up on Showpad (Online Sales Enablement System for sales team)
• Seeding the related content with MarCom responsible for the online sales enablement platform and informing the related parties if needed
• Following up website revisions, revising the related content when needed through BASF licensed CMS (or sharing and following up the status with the outsource company)
• Conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting
• Following up on the SEO results of the website ongoingly and coming up with proactive recommendations
• Following up on the results of social media marketing campaigns results and coming up with ideas to optimize continuously.
• Following up on the results of contents (reach numbers) and also the related reports from the agencies
• Monitoring the feedback from social media channels and websites and sharing the inquiries with the related departments. Ensuring that the process runs smoothly.
• Delivering the related content of e-newsletters / e-mailings via online system. Following up the reports and delivering to the related departments.
• Sending out the related SMS through the system & sharing the related reports.
• Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business (such as WhatsApp for business)
